Hi everyone!!
Hello Ai Fans!
I'm so excited because I ordered so many watercolor stamps and I was looking forward to start creating with them!! I can tell you that for the next few Saturdays, you'll see some watercolor cards. ;)
Starting with this one:
I don't know if you saw these stamps already. You can find them here. But I just want to warn you, when you start looking, you'll want ALL of them!!!! I know because, it happened to me. lol
Once you chose your favorite stamps, you can find Bonnie's "how to" videos right here. These will give you ideas and will guide you to a wonderful result, step by step.
After you watched the videos, you'll want to practice. Because Bonnie is modest and keep saying it's very easy, but just between us, she's an artist, so for us normal people, it takes a bit of a learning curve. ;) I stamped about 6 pots and flowers before I got a result I was happy with. That means one evening fun practicing and watching videos, and than your cards will be just beautiful! :)
Along with the stamps, you will need watercolor paper and water base ink markers. Bonnie uses Marvy Le Plume, which you can find in the Art Impressions shop, but I also used my Stampin'UP! markers and some American Crafts markers that I had at home and it works fine too. You'll just have to experiment and find colors that you like. Here is the list of the markers/colors I used for this image.
Voilà! You know everything! Now you can start creating and having fun AND impressing your friends with your work of art! ;)

Lovely card Marie-Pierre! I saw Bonnie demo in Mesa, Arizona at the stamp show & you are right, she makes it look so easy! I love all of the AI stamps but I am very partial to the girlfriends ones. Signing off from Lee River, Manitoba, Canada
Hugs, Renee
Beautiful card. I love the water coloring with those beautiful yellow flowers. Thank you for showing the different markers you used.
