première page en ligne / first page online

Salut tout le monde!

Ça y est! j'ai l'honneur de vous annoncer que ma première page est en ligne sur le site de Get it Scrapped!: easy scrapbook pages.

J'imagine que je n'ai pas besoin de vous dire à quel point je suis excitée!!! :)

Comme là-bas il n'y a qu'une seule photo de ma page, je vais vous la présenter ici, mais si ça vous tente, allez me laisser un commentaire là-bas aussi! Savez-vous que vos commentaires tiennes mon blog en vie? Si vous voulez qu'il survive, il faut le nourrir. C'est un peu comme un Tamagotchi. :) Le miens était mort après deux jours. héhé!!

Hi everyone!

First, if you are coming from Easyscrapbookpages and it's your first time here, well, WELCOME to my blog! I hope you'll take some time to check around and maybe even to become a new member. :)

If you are NOT coming from Get it Scrapped, well, welcome back! :) I'm happy to see you again and I'm so excited to tell you that my first page has been published over at Get it Scrapped!: easy scrapbook pages. I'm so very happy. :) But because over there there is just one photo of my layout, I'll show it to you here, with more details. :) Oh and by the way, if you want to leave me some comments and nice words here AND there, it would be GREAT! You know, right, that my blog can only survive if you feed him (with comments!). It's a little bit like a Tamagotchi. Mine was dead after only 2 days. ;) So thanks in advance for helping me continue. 

Pour vous mettre en contexte, le projet de Heidi était d'observer quelque chose d'ordinaire et d'y voir l'extraordinaire! Quand mon événement est arrivé (quand on observe pour vrai, il y a toujours quelque chose qui finit par arriver!), j'ai décidé de le noter dans une lettre que j'allais écrire à ma grand-mère qui est décédée il y a déjà quelques années. J'espère que vous arriverez à bien lire le texte....

So last week in my Art of observation class we had to find the extraordinary in the ordinary of every day. I had to wait a bit to find my extraordinary, but it came. In fact, when you are looking for something, if you look very closely, you'll always find it. ;) I'll show you my page and translate the text afterward.

le texte:

Ok so in my letter, I was telling my grandma how my 3 years old daughter is talking about her quite often, as if she would know her and as if she was part of our family. I find that extraordinary. And just to resume the story, Arielle (my daughter) was on the swing that day. She just learned how to swing without me pushing her. And as I was telling her how high she was going, she began to told that she was going higher than the house, higher than the clouds, higher than the sky, and even higher than Grandma Lorette. :) I found that very touching.

À la fin de ma lettre, j'ai créé une petite scène qui fait référence à la situation décrite dans ma lettre. J'ai estampé l'arbre et j'ai dessiné une petite balançoire. J,ai ajouté à ça quelques nuages, certains estampés et d'autres découpés dans du papier vélin, des boutons et des attaches parisiennes.

At the end of my letter I stamped a little tree and drew a little swing to refer to the story. I also added some washi tape, some buttons and brads and some little clouds, some stamped and some other cut out of vellum paper.

Puis j'ai ajouté une photo de grand-maman Lorette. :) Je l'ai mise dans un petit cadre de polaroid et j'ai noté sur le cadre la date et quelques informations sur la photo. J'ai trouvé ces infos derrière la photo. J'ai reconnu l'écriture de ma grand-mère. AWESOME!

I paired my letter with a photo of my grandma Lorette that I framed in a small polaroid like frame. I added the date and some informations that I found on the back of the picture, written by my grandma herself. AWESOME!

Des éclaboussures d'encre et des petits éléments en carton aggloméré complètent ma page. :)

Some ink splatters and chipboard elements are completing the project. :)
