Art Impressions | The milk can

Hi everyone!!

I have another watercolor card today for you:

One of my favorite set from the watercolor series is the container set because by simply changing one container, you can make a totally other card. I can,t tell you which container is my favorite because I truly love them all! :)

A simple scene here that you can achieve with just a little practice. I finished the card by adding some paint splatters. I didn't add any sentiment so I now have a card in my stash for any occasion. I love that!

Thanks for stopping by!!

Art Impressions | Watercolor Pink tree

Hello Ai fans!!

Today I tried the Tree set because when I saw the image of the little pink tree on the set, I just couldn't resist it! Here's my version of it:

And I love the result!!!!

I inked a part of the tree in sepia and the branches in pink.
I used my pink ink and a brush to make a pink wash for the leaves. When it was dry, I used my brush to add some pink spots. I filled the little white spots with some green little dots. Under the tree I made a small green wash and I stamped grass and some tiny flowers. I added the sentiment by hand with a quill and india ink.

On this card, I started the same way but I used the small flowers stamp to stamp flowers in the tree.
I then added some droplets around the tree. I hope you like my cards and I hope they make you want to try some watercolor series stamps for yourself!! :)

Thanks for looking!! :)

Pretty Little Studio | Sketch

Hi everyone!

Today I have a page up on the Pretty Little Studio blog.
It's a sketch challenge. I would love you to go over there to leave me some love!! :)
As I just have commented on the Paperclipping Roundtable, even us "professional scrapbooker" (I don't consider myself a professional, but apparently that's what you are called when you are part of a design team) like to get comments and approval. :) So if you have a minute, I'd be really happy.

If you don't have time to hop over, here's my page:

The "happy" die cut is one I made myself with some india ink and a brush. I cut out around and I love the result. :)

Thanks for stopping by!
I really appreciate your presence on my blog. :)

Get It Scrapped | Cute Paper Crafts

Hi everyone!!

I would like to introduce you today to a dear friend of mine: Sunghee Chon.
I met her online, through a contest I was participating to when I first started scrapbooking in 2008.
Her work for the contest was amazing and I've been following her blog since then. What she does amaze me every single time!! :)

Today I decided to use one of her template that she uses for one of her project. It's a bird house template. You can get it for free by following the link to the template.

I made 2. One for each of my girls. :)

Voilà. Maybe this could inspire you for some Easter gifts…coming up! :)
Thank you Sunghee for being my friend and for being a crafty magician. You rock!
