Kutna Hora

I have another video up on my YouTube channel.
This layout is about the day we spent at Kutna Hora, in the Czech Republic, a city where there is a church decorated with with human bones!!

You can read more about Kutna Hora and it's churches here: https://www.amazingczechia.com/destinations/kutna-hora/

And reading this, I know that I owe my scrapbook a more accurate description of the town.

Here's the link to my Yout tube channel process video:

And here are some close ups of the details.

These vellum leaves and sequins are from my Pot Pourri collection and they are now 50%.

I hope you get to scrap and treat yourself to some creative time!

Stay safe and see you again soon!

Pretty Please at Pretty Little Studio | Potpourri

Hello everyone!!

I'm really happy that you joined me today for a short presentation of my new fall collection called Potpourri!

It's available through Pretty Little Studio and you can pre order it now right HERE and it will ship around October 15th on a first come first served basis.

The name Potpourri was my husband's idea. As I was telling him how eclectic my collection was, I was saying things like "there are fall motives, but there are also spring motives" and "the patterns and colors make the collection usable all year round", a little bit like my Here Comes The Sun collection, you know? So Potpourri, which means a mixture or medley of things, was pretty fitting. :)

The collection consists of patterned papers, cards, clear acetates, vellum sheets, cardstock and vellum die cuts, sticker sheets and flair badges.

The colors are happy and vibrant. I hand painted each image (even the labels!) with watercolor and a brush! :)

Here's a closer look on some of my favorites of the collection:

Paper! This is the 8x8 paper pack. You can also get it in 4x4 and 6x6 or in 6x8 if you are into mini albums! :)

My favorite paper of all is the one with the big leaves, but I also love the mushrooms and raindrops. And oh well, I love all of them, otherwise they wouldn't be there! The paperback has a mixture of white background with colorful motives, black and white papers and full colored papers. Some patterns are subtle and some are really bold and great to make a big statement!

And then there are the vellums. I love vellum to layer!! I doesn't only give another layer to the layout, but it also brings another feel and a softness to the stories and photos. And the Pretty Little Studio vellum is a really nice one!

The collection also has some of these patterns in gold on paper, velum and clear:

If you are a Project Lifer (I am!) :) you'll like to see all the cutes cards I created!!! There are 3x4 and 4x6. And you can get a pack of all the papers in 4x6 as well if you'd like.

My bestseller in my previous collection are the die cuts!! And this collection as plenty of options as well. :)

I absolutely ADORE these vellum leaves!!!

And I also like these labels and polaroid type cards. You can use them to journal, stamp, or add photos! You could also cut the inside and layer them over photo and make little shaker cards with them. Endless possibilities.

And this is what I can never have enough of!!!

And again, for my love of labels, I have some gold banners!!

Most of these die cuts are also available as stickers:

I really wanted to offer enough black and white in this collection so I made a pack of clear all black stickers.
I absolutely love these numbers as well (and letters are to be added to the shop soon to).

Plus, I added some mini stickers to the line that were thought specifically to be used in planners.

The collection also has some vellum washi tape.

Finally, I have some nice packs of flairs. Here are just two of the 5 sets.

Here is the collection in a nutshell but you can see the whole collection and order it on the Pretty Little Studio website.

I can't wait to see your unboxing videos and your all of the projects you guys are going to use my products for! Please do share and tag me on Instagram and Facebook when you use my products!! I really enjoy and appreciate it each time! :)

Hip Kit Club | Addition to my Project Life album

Hey everyone!
Salut tout le monde!!

A new page format just found its place in my 2016 Project Life album: the 8x8. Ok, I also have the 6x6, as you saw here. But the 8x8 will give my favorite pictures and stories a special place.

I love the Project Life album format. In fact, I was just looking at older PL albums with my daughters who wanted to see themselves when we arrived in the USA 5 years ago and it was simply MAGICAL to see us in different life situations, not just at Christmas on on vacation. So yes, I love the format but I thought as i was looking at my album that it was pretty tough to navigate since no particular story was standing out. Everything in the album had the same weight. It was kind of boring to look at. That's when the thought came up: if I just added another page protector with a different photo size, it could help that photo to stand out.

So here's my page. :) The story is that my daughter LOVES my parents cats. It's really a big deal every time we visit them. And it's also a big deal when we leave them.

I hand wrote this quote from Winnie the Pooh I believe (I saw it on Instagram so I'm not really sure) with my brush pen on a cute tag.

And I added small embellishments here and there.

I really love the dimension of curled paper.

A little bit of journaling and some drops of Shimmers.

And some gold accents from Heidi Swapp.
Et quelques accents métalliques de Heidi Swapp.

If you like the elements that I used, they are all part of the GORGEOUS (!!) Hip Kit Club January Kits. You can check them out right here.

Talk to you real soon!
À bientôt!!!

Free Download | Calendar 2016

Hi everyone!
Salut tout le monde!

Yesterday as I was working on the beginning of my 2016 Project Life album, I figured that I needed to make another calendar. Last year I really appreciated the little boxes to write details and have a good monthly overview since I'm now working on a weekly basis anymore.
Ca me donnait une vue d'ensemble.

This year I decided to go just a little big bigger and I made a 6x6 calendar that I will add at the beginning of each month in an extra page protector. Here's how it looks like.

Simple embellishment is all it takes. :) I could also add color in the boxes.
If you would like to add the Calendar to your PL album or to any other project, you can get on the Citrus Twist Kits Facebook Fan page.

On the other side of the calendar, I made a small page. I really loved working with this size!!

I printed a photo in 6x6 and added only a little bit of embellishments.

I wish you a nice end of the day. :)
