Pretty Little Studio - September Sketch

Hi everyone!

Today I'm on the Pretty Little Studio blog with my take on the September sketch.

I used the Treasure Island collection, the Gold Mine, the Marigold and the Let's go collection. They all go together so well.

This is a beautiful gold foil die cut word and the beautiful die cut clouds from the Marigold collection.

New in the shop are these cute vellum tape!! Really really pretty and matching the Let's go collection.

Pretty Little Studio | July's sketch challenge

Hi everyone!!

Starting pages with a sketch is something I never do, except when I have to, for an assignment. And you know what, every time I do use a sketch, I love it. The page comes together much quicker!!! Here's the sketch for July at Pretty Little Studio. If you want to play with us, you could win a nice prize (a 20$ grab bag!!!). There are not that many participations, so you have very good chances of winning! Just a hint for my readers. ;)

And here's my take on it:

I had lots of fun layering gold glittered cardstock, patterned papers and vellum and adding stickers, die cuts and flairs. I also love to add lots of small labels and tabs to add little details here and there. The gold letters are a must for me. Here i just used them to write one word of the title which I wanted to be the main focus of my page. When I play with gold like that, I like to stitch with a golden thread. It gives a nice finished look.

Pretty Little Studio | Sketch Challenge

Hi everyone!

Today I have a page on the Pretty Little Studio blog. :)

There is a sketch to follow and you can play along if you wish. What I particularly like about working with a sketch is that it takes you where you might have never been before. This page is not really my type of page, with LOTS (!!!) of white space…. but I must say that it came together very quickly once I had found my story and at the end of the day, I'm quite happy with my layout.

Finally, when the page was done and photographed, I decided that I wasn't satisfied and that although it looked good, my story wash,t complete. So I made a second page to complete this one. You'll see that one in a couple of days. ;) Meanwhile, go have a look at the sketch and tell me what you think of the page. Do you like a rather cute page with a shorter story, or a full page, maybe less appealing, but with way more details about the story?
